AR BILLING SPECIALIST

Under the auspices of the Director of Billing & Reimbursement, the AR Billing Specialist will be responsible for AR activities, collections, patient statements, etc. related to Bond CHC active patients. The Billing Specialist will also assist in billing and reimbursement activities for the center and all of its sites when required. The Billing Specialist will understand and model the mission of BCHC. Successful performance of job duties will directly impact health system goals to obtain appropriate reimbursement and compensation for services rendered by professional staff. CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER

The Chief Medical Officer should be a practicing physician who is Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine; 3+ years experience in ambulatory health care leadership, preferably in an FQHC setting. The candidate should have experience in leading quality improvement/quality assurance activities; supervising physicians, mid-level providers, and nursing leaders; overseeing peer review activities; mitigating medical risks; recruitment and retention of physicians and supervisory clinical personnel; public speaking and community health education; and developing and implementing medical protocols, policies, procedures, and organizational plans. The CMO will assist the Chief Executive Officer with medical and administrative concerns that pertain to health policy, grant applications, and reporting.

NURSE PRACTITIONER CLINICAL DIRECTOR

The qualified candidate should be a practicing advanced practice registered nurse who is board certified in Family Medicine, Adult Medicine, or Women’s Health; 5+ years experience in ambulatory health care leadership, preferably in an FQHC setting. The candidate should have experience in leading quality improvement/quality assurance activities; reporting; supervising clinical teams; mitigating medical risks; public speaking and community health education; and developing and implementing medical protocols, policies, procedures, and organizational plans. The Nurse Practitioner Clinical Director will assist the Chief Medical Officer in maintaining accreditation/certifications and the delivery of medical services in keeping with nationally accepted standards and state and federal laws.


This position is a full-time position with evenly distributed time between primary care and executive clinical duties. The role also serves as deputy to the Chief Medical Officer and includes leadership and supervision of nurse practitioners and other health care providers, training, quality improvement, and education to support the achievement of operational and health outcome goals.

 

TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST- Mobile Unit

The Transportation Specialist is responsible for all phases of transportation operations for mobile health services. This includes skilled work in safe and efficient operations of a large passenger van, transporting mobile unit staff or patients to various scheduled appointments. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s Bond Community Health Center, Inc. License, Class A, B, and/or CDL, proof of driver records from the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles. Also supports maintenance team with facility work order request, set-up and break down for special events, traffic control, and janitorial rounding. 1–2-year related experience required. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent recognized certificate.

Able to perform basic pharmaceutical calculations including quantity, volume, and percentages. Physically able to stand for an extended period. Must work one Saturday per month and have the flexibility to work extended hours when necessary, including evenings and weekends.
